Possible Turning Point

The ABC prime time game of the night is the Purdue Boilers versus the OSU Buckeyes. OSU has been in the top ranks for the last couple of years including an appearance in the National Championship last year and a National Championship victory only a few years ago. However, their opponent, Purdue, is on the rise. Purdue's game tonight could prove to be one of the most important games since their Rose Bowl appearance back when Drew Brees was at the helm.

If Purdue's defense decides to finally show up and their offense shows up again for the sixth time this season they have a good shot to win it. Not only will a win catapult them to the top of the Big Ten standings but it will also lift them to the top of the rankings. Let's not forget what this would do to them as far as the national public goes. This is the most important part. If PU wins they will gain a lot of respect and many people will start to notice this black and gold team from West Lafayette. Recruiting, the life blood of a team, will be bolstered exponentially which will result in many successful years to come.

The coaching staff so far has done a great job coaching their lowly ranked recruiting classes. These classes are obviously compared to the elites of the country. A win tonight will do all of the aforementioned things and above all make a future look much brighter. I will be their to cheer 'em on.
