UPSET Watch

After looking at this weekends schedule and knowing the latest trend is a unseen upset. I see a few games the shout upset. I feel there should be less upsets because teams high up on in the ranking should really have their eyes open and on their guard week in and week out. But I also feel upset are even more likely to happen because all teams weather winning or losing record want to go out with a bang and possible get themselves on the map for next year.

1) The first upset I am calling is kind of a easy one to see and it is California over USC. Both these teams are really going though some rough times. Both at one time were ranked number 2, but were beat by unranked teams in very big upsets. Coming from #2 Cal. dropped three lost in a row leaving themselves unranked and playing for there pride in this game against USC. USC had a embarrassing lost to Stanford when they were #2 going on and having a struggle win against Arizona, then losing against the great Oregon Ducks this season. These teams are very evenly matched with their dominating offenses but I feel Cal. will take this one in a close game with a one possession one so I'm predicting 35-28.

2) The second upset I am calling is a hard one but i can really see it happening is Illnois over Ohio State. Illnois i feel is the third best team in the Big Ten right now. Illnois runs that spread offense that Ohio State have yet to see this year. Ohio State has the best defense in the Big Ten, but with this spread offense Illnois presents Ohio State defense could fall apart. If Ohio State cannot contain this QB and RB combination Illnois will run all over them. Look for this to be a high scoring action packed game. This one will come down the last snap and i predict Illnois 28-24
