Colts in trouble
The Indianapolis Colts may be in serious trouble. After being plagued by many injuries they lost one of their starting defensive linemen. Dwight Freeny, who is a three time pro-bowler for the Colts is out for the season after he injured his left foot. Simeon Rice has been promoted to take the highest paid defender in the league. During the San Diego game, the Colts were without seven starters and lost four more during the game. The Colt's were a team that could not have been beating because of the massive talent they brought to the field, but now with all of their key players on the injured list, their future could be in big trouble. The rest of the players on the injured list include pro-bowl safety Bob Sanders, wide receivers Marvin Harrison and Anthony Gonzalez, line backer Rob Morris, and the list goes on. The Colts are in serious trouble with all this talent sitting on the side lines. I think its a tough call to decide what the Colts future holds because some of the players may return to the field for the post season, although without Freeny or Harrison, the Colts will not go far. Hopefully Harrison will come back from his bruised knee so he can take some of the pressure off of Manning and Wayne. Many people say his presence is not a dramatic change in the game, although it is obvious on the field the way the defense lines up you can tell they do not have to worry about a spectacular catch from Harrison, so they can concentrate more on stopping Wayne.
