The ole' bucket game

The Boilers play IU this weekend and I decided instead of giving you my pick that probably won't be anything like the real one. I am going give you a little history on the Bucket Game. The Oaken Bucket has been going on since 1925. The first Bucket was actually found in Southern Indiana and someone thought it would be a great thing to give to the victor of the game. The very first game that was played for the Bucket ended up in a tie, so they put both an I, and a P, on the Bucket. The Boilers have almost dominated the series, with winning the matchup 43 times and the Hoosiers only have 24. The bucket has also had a way of disappearing from both campuses, but always ended up showing back up. This matchup will most likely have the same results as previous years. Purdue is coming off a couple tough losses and I think Tiller has been really practicing his boys this week. I think IU will definitely put up a fight but like everyone says," they are a basketball school."

So I guess I lied in the beginning and I will throw out a score. I'm thinking that the score will be Purdue 35, IU 28. It could be a higher scoring game due to the fact that I think both of these teams don't have strong defenses, so there should be a lot of scoring. So when I’m down at Bloomington and us Boilers add another P to the chain. I'll walk up to each IU fan and tell em'. “Don't worry, you are a basketball school, no one expected you to win this.”
